Sheila is a State Counsel at the International Law Deparment of the Office of the Attorney General. At the Office of the Attorney General , Sheila has been part of the international arbitration legal team that has defended the Government in over ten (10) major arbitration disputes filed at ICSID, ICC, LCIA and adhoc arbitrations under UNCITRAL rules. Sheila has a particular interest in International investment law and areas surrounding its reform having been part of the Kenyan Delegation negotiating the AfCFTA investment protocol and a regular representantive of Goverment at the UNCITRAL ISDS reforms discussions. She also is involved with the negotiations of Bilateral investmest disputes and International trade agreements.
